Hi I'm Nathaniel Ryan Robinson

I am a Church Service Missionary working for familysearch.org, and I am currently going to school at UVU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a Church Service Missionary. I am also going to school at Utah Valley University majoring in Digital Media with an emphasis in film. My hobbies are reading, making movies, writing, watching Sci-Fi and playing video games.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church. As my parents kept teaching me, I learned for myself, that it is true. I know that God is our Heavenly Father who loves us. I can feel His Spirit testify this to me. I know that Jesus Christ suffers for our sins. I know that the gospel was restored by Joseph Smith. I know these things because I asked God if they were true, and he answered my prayers. It is true and I want others to know the truth too.

How I live my faith

I go to Church every week, and try to pray and read my scriptures everyday. When I follow the commandments I can feel the Spirit. I don't follow them because I am forced to, but because it makes me happy.

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

Nathaniel Ryan Robinson
We are considered as a cult, because we don't believe the same things as other churches, and because people think that we worship Joseph Smith, which we do not, we worship Jesus Christ. I looked up "cult" in the dictionary and it says that it is a group or person that pays devotion to something. I was reading a mythology book and it called the different religions related to the mythologies as cults. Show more Show less
