Hi I'm Meg

I'm a full-time missionary, I'm obsessed with happiness, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a happy newly-wed experiencing the joys of marriage! We have so much fun together and love daydreaming about our future. I'm currently studying to become a nurse while my husband is preparing for medical school. I guess you could say... we're going to be a "medical" couple! I'm currently pretending to be a runner and cook. We'll see how that goes :) I love the word simplicity and LOVE being a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

While I was raised as a Mormon, there came a time where I needed to know for myself. I remember praying in my room as a curious 11 year old. I asked my loving Heavenly Father if this was His Church and if it was true. Almost immediately after closing my prayer I received a beautiful confirmation. It felt as if my heart were on fire! As tears streamed down my face I knew that this is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Ever since that beautiful, yet simple experience, I've tried to do my best at living this gospel. Although I'm nowhere near perfect, I know that I can improve and progress as I try to follow Jesus Christ. I'm so thankful to be a Mormon!

How I live my faith

As I stated before, I am a missionary! I am the first girl on either side of my family to serve, and I adore it! As missionaries, we spend all of our time helping people come unto Christ. I love the Book of Mormon and am strengthening my testimony of it each and every day! People's lives improve when they read this wonderful book. I strive to be obedient to my Heavenly Father and work hard. I LOVE THIS GOSPEL :)

What is being a Mormon like?

Meg
Being a Mormon is WONDERFUL! Although we have trials, difficulties, and weaknesses just like everyone else, we are blessed with a beautiful eternal perspective. We know that our trials are temporary and we feel joy in learning about our Heavenly Father's plan for us! Additionally, being an active Mormon means that you will always have a support system. The Church is organized into wards (a group of members that meet together based on where they live). Through Church activities and callings we get to know the members of our ward very well. You have built-in friendships every time you attend Church! Show more Show less
