Hi I'm Sara

I love to sing especially with my children. I love to talk with my family. I love life. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a mother to three children and a wife to my dear husband. I love to learn and I love teaching our children. Although I received my undergrad and graduate degrees there is nothing I would rather do than be at home with my dear little ones. I enjoyed working (prior to marriage and children) very much but have never regretted my decision to be at home full time. I love being a mother!! I hope to someday get my PhD. I love to create, especially through sewing projects for my family. I also enjoy working out in the yard and weeding. It is so reward to make things more beautiful. I also enjoy exercising (i.e. walking and swimming).

Why I am a Mormon

I have never had a "conversion" experience. I just have always known and felt that I am truly part of Christ's church in being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that it is only through His church that God's authority lies. I served a mission many years ago and I remember thinking that I could never be a door to door salesperson because I have never known a product to be good enough to be able to sell honestly. Yet,I could be a missionary! When I would present The Book of Mormon to others I had no fear about it because I knew and still know of its truthfulness and the blessings and promises that come from living it's principles. I have had so many personal and sacred experiences that have touch my entire being that have witnessed to me that I am part of something real and true. I know that it is only through Jesus Christ that I can be saved. He is my Savior and my dear Redeemer. I know that we can be together as families because of the power of the priesthood as manifested in the temple. Jesus Christ has provided a pattern that if we follow will lead to the sweetest and most fulfilling happiness. He lives!!

How I live my faith

Currently, I am the ward choir director. Although I have had a lot of experience singing this has been a humbling experience and I am realizing how important it is to have the support of the ward to make the choir work. It is the ward's choir. I substituted as the music director in primary last week. There is nothing like teaching and being in the presence of little ones. I felt of the value of teaching the little ones truth and how I wanted to give them as much truth so they could apply it and have what they need to be happy. It all of the many callings that I have had I have witnessed that every part of the church directs us to Christ, become as He is, and to have eternal joy as a family. Truly, my Heavenly Father has a plan for all of us and He has not left us to flounder in this world.
