Hi I'm Wade Fillmore

I have a Japanese/English website. www.morumon.org. I served three missions in Japan, two with my wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am retired, but I need new tires. I consider myself a good learner. Joanne and I have six children, 14 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Each is precious and loved. Having spent 7.5 years in Japan, I consider myself good at using the Japanese langauage to communicate. I think I am best at speaking and listening, but I can also write and read quite well compared to most non-native speakers that I know about. I also enjoy reading and writing in English. Because of our Heavenly Father's love for His children, He often blesses me beyond my ability when I am trying to be a blessing to others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by choice after carefully and honestly studying, praying, and experimenting with the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for which The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the authorized custodian upon this earth. That is my personal witness. Having said that, I also add that our Father in Heaven loves all of His children though He is not well pleased with all of us, perhaps not with many of us because we deny ourselves the blessings we could have were we more righteous. Nevertheless He is patient with us. His arrangement for us to repent and be forgiven comes from the Father's covenant with his Only Begotten Son in the flesh, Jesus Christ. Because of the Father's love for us, He provides the Light of Christ to entice all of His children to choose the right, but because He respects our right to choose, Satan is allowed to entice us in the opposite direction to choose evil. I feel blessed with our Father's confidence in us. I love Him and His Son who is like Him as we may become if we learn, grow, repent and endure the difficulties without which we cannot prove ourselves to ourselves.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the Ward Mission Leader in the Sandy Utah Hillcrest 4th Ward. I like learning. I like repenting, and I like sharing the truths which I have learned during the more than 70 years I have lived on this earth. I am trying to share the truths of the Gospel with several people I know, mostly through the Internet.
