Hi I'm Courtney

I grew up in Utah. I love to smile and laugh and enjoy listening to others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a high school student, as well as college part time. I am a manager at a movie theater and love the people I work with. I love watching funny movies or anything that will make me laugh! I am currently a pianist in the primary in my ward. I hope to someday travel the world and learn about different cultures. I love this gospel with all of my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I absolutely love this church. I feel like it's the place where I belong. It has given me the knowledge that I have a purpose in life and that my Heavenly Father knows who I am and everything I go through. He is always there for me and I know I am not alone. Many times people ask me why I don't leave this church with so many restrictions. I have a simple response. Why would I want to leave a church that has helped me through so much! Even though there are restrictions, I know they are there for a purpose and that they are there to help me be a better and healthy person. I have such a strong testimony of that. This gospel has helped me through so many hard times and I am so grateful to have a place I can turn to. I am also asked, "What if you live your whole life striving to be perfect and follow this gospel, just to find out it's not true?" I strongly feel that I would rather live my whole life believing in this church and find out that it is real, than live my whole life without and later find out it was. Either way, I don't lose anything. I know this church is the true. I have had my own special witness that this gospel is the only true gospel on this earth. If we turn to our Heavenly Father, he will help each of us understand give us the knowledge that this is the true church. He never will give us something that we can not handle. I know that if we ever feel overwhelmed with life, if we turn to Him, he will help us through anything. This is the true gospel and I am so grateful that I have been part of this church and am able to share my testimony with so many people.

How I live my faith

I am a pianist in the program for children in my current ward. I love working with children and the youth. I often volunteer to help teach the young children before they join our church officially. I follow all the commandments given to us by our Father in Heaven. I try to be an example to those around me and share my testimony with them. With many friends out in the mission field, I have learned to be a missionary at all times and how to share the gospel with others. These many different things have blessed my life in so many ways.
