Hi I'm Alicia

I grew up in Washington State. Lived in Arizona for almost a year. I am wanting to be a Special Ed teacher and I am Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 7. I have three siblings who aren't members and the three siblings that are members aren't active. I am the only one who served a mission. I love music and dancing. I love being out doors and being productive. I am a nanny. Because of doing this, I have more of a spark of going to school and learning Child development. As a young girl my parents weren't married to each other. Through this, I had a lot of trials, but because of this I have learned so much and see that I don't want to this in my life. Being a member of this church has blessed me more ways then I would of ever imagine. I am so grateful to have this in my life. I am grateful that we have a prophet to lead us in these latter days and my family can be sealed forever and ever.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I know its true. No doubt in my mind. I would ask you to really seek out with an open heart and mind to ask god your self as I have, if this is really true? Also the reason why I am member of this blessed church is because God has restored EVERYTHING back to this earth. LIke temples, a prophet and apostles to lead us back to our father in heaven, He has given man the priesthood for men to act in the name of Lord, and many more. He has given us another chance to have this fullness to help us to return to him once again before our savoir comes again.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary. Being a part of this gospel is such a blessing in my life. When I was 15 years old I started wondering who I am? Is there a God? What church is true? I started search for truth. I grew up in this church, and when I started searching for answers at 15, that is when I really started knowing this gospel and learning about others. By having faith and the hope that I will find my answers . This church was the one where I felt the spirit the strongest, where I felt like everything made since. It was the place where I felt like I was home. Because I know this church is true and that God is real and that he has provided a away for me to return to him one day, I am now serving in Lubbuck, Texas Mission. Being a missionary has changed my life. It is the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. But by the end of this I know I will be able to face any trials that comes my way. Being a member was the best thing I have ever done in my life.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Alicia
Going on a mission is a life change experience. All of us who had the opportunity to go and serve will say that it was the most amazing time of there life. Going on a mission is a voluntary thing. We as individuals make the choose to go or not. I know that because I am the only one in my family who ever thought about a mission. Show more Show less

What is the Book of Mormon?

Alicia
The Book of Mormon is another testimony of Jesus Christ. This book isn't like the Bible. It is there to be able to woke with the Bible. There are different people and experiences in there. It tells about the old prophets in american content. I know if you read it and pray about it with all your heart and mind that you may know the truthfulness of it by the Holy Ghost as I have learned it. Show more Show less
