Hi I'm Adam Vigil

I'm part of Mormonism......are you??

About Me

I am a return missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am the youngest of 7, 5 brothers and 1 sister. I love life! I was raised in Kansas but it took me to be a missionary before I grew up, so I just say I grew up in Idaho. I love sports and love the fact that we have potential to be like our Father in Heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because one day I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. Then I felt really good about it and how it would bless my life. That's it, that simple!

How I live my faith

I participate in the community by showing service. I am an Eagle Scout and a return missionary for the church. So, service is a very important part to missionary work. We represent the Lord Jesus Christ in all we do and service shows that we love everyone just as the Lord loves everyone. I study the scriptures everyday so that way my faith increases and I may also strengthen the faith of others by helping them understand the truth of this gospel. Most important I live my faith by becoming the person that the Lord desires I become, that is the purpose of this life, is to becoming who the Savior of the World wants us to become. Faith is an action word. We have agency or the freedom to choose everything we do. A way I show my faith is by choosing to always be happy even when times are hard, for hard times are the best times, because it is an opportunity to become more like unto Jesus Christ. As long as we choose righteously and are humble.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Adam Vigil
Baptism is essential for the enterance of the Lord's Kingdom, by proper authority. When baptized we will live with Heavenly Father after this life, but it has to be done by His power and authority. Interrested in living with God again? Ask the missionaries, they will help you! Show more Show less
