Hi I'm RJ

I'm a college student and I'm working and going to school to support my young family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student and I'm going to school to become a Physical Therapist. I love learning more about the body and how it works. I love to play basketball and football. I'm married and work to support my lovely wife and future children. I love spending time and hanging out with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but that doesn't mean I'm still a member just because I grew up that way. There came a point in my life where I had to decide whether to continue living what I'd been taught, or to find my own way to live and possibly fail. During my senior year in high school I had too many experiences supporting my faith in the Church. I felt time and time again that what was taught was true. Those experiences lead me to serve a mission where I would come to know with every fiber of my being that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true and that it teaches Christ's full and living Gospel. The joy, peace and happiness I felt on my mission while teaching others about our beliefs transformed my life and has motivated me to continue living this faith. I've also come to a complete knowledge that families can live together forever. If for no other reason THAT doctrine of Christ's true Church is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be kind to others and share my feelings about God, family and the purpose of life. Although I do verbally invite others to learn more about my faith, I try to live the best I can and let my example show others that living the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the best way to find happiness and purpose in life.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

God is the author of marriage. It was He that put Adam and Eve together and it was He that commanded them to start a family. Our Heavenly Father does the same in our day. He desires that we find a husband/wife in order to start a family and He wants our family to be happy. How else could we be truly happy than to be with our husband/wife and kids in the Kingdom of God forever. God wants us to have eternal families. Show more Show less
