Hi I'm cashman

I grew up in Moreno Valley, CA, I love basketball & I am black, asian, and caucasian and I speak spanish! (mind blown)

About Me

I am nineteen years old and I am currently serving a mission in Birmingham Alabama speaking Spanish for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I grew up around basketball all my life and I played for my school, a travel ball team (aau), and I went into coaching. I ran track and played basketball in high school and loved every minute of it. I grew up in California and was president of my middle school and high school 5 years in total. I love serving people and I am always looking to make a positive change in the word. I grew attending up most of my life around the catholic church and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. At the age of 12 I decided to join the Church of Jesus Christ because I know and discovered for myself that the lord has restored his church once again upon the earth. The Church is not new but restored just as Jesus Christ had set-up in the new testament.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because i have no doubt that this is the true church of my savior Jesus Christ. I have always been around the church but i have not always truly lived it. I bear my solemn testimony that I know that the church is true. I know without a doubt in my heart that my heavenly father loves and stands at my side. I know trials will come my way throughout my life. I know trials will be painful, make a big impact, and just straight suck sometimes. This world was not made to be an easy one for if there was no hardship there is no good times, nor without sadness there is no happiness. I pray not for my pain to be lifted for I know it will pass but a lesson to be learned from it. The lord builds us up and creates a path to return with him. I testify that prayers will be answered, miracles will be seen, and happiness can be obtained. I cannot say I think I believe this maybe true because the word think does not belong. I know these things are true, I have felt the spirit, and heard the truth. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Savior and our friend. amen With this knowledge i am happy throughout my trials and I have something to drive me in all that I do to obtain something higher.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures, praying, serving, attending church, and serving a full-time mission to share what I love so dearly with my brothers and sisters.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?
