Hi I'm Cody A.

I grew up in nevada. My family means the world to me. The beauty of nature is incomparable to anything money can buy. Im a mormon.

About Me

I like to golf, play flag football, and city league softball as much as possible. Pretty much anything that involes being active. In all things I try to stay happy and have an optimistic attitude. To help me accomplish this I strive to look for the good in all things. Some things that help me find joy in this life are; physical activity, good music, nature, service, family, and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the mormon faith and had amazing parents that taught me the basics of what I needed to succeed in this life. At the center of what they taught were moral values and beliefs that I knew were true because of the evidence of them I was able to see in their lives. Even tho I always knew this, sometimes I didnt always live by these principles. Im so grateful that they had been instilled in my heart and that I knew how they could bless my life. As I grew up and moved away from home I had to learn to rely on myself to get things done. Most of you know this isnt always easy. I concentrated way too much on the things of the world and put the things I knew to be true in the background. Through my journeys I always knew there was something more and something in my life that was missing that I needed to be truly happy. When I finally started to go back to church and get active in my religion again I felt that hole in my life start to be filled. When I eventually became fully active and to live the way I knew would bless my life I felt complete. Right when I found that I wasnt searching anymore I truly became converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ. That emptiness, loneliness, that can so easily creep on so many of us was gone! I knew that in all things and in all places I wasnt alone because the atonement of Jesus Christ was real and was made for each one of us personally. Through the knowledge of the restored gospel all my questions in life have had an answer to them.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving a mission in Pennsylvania, doing my best to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all those who are willing to hear it. Before I came out on a mission I served in my ward as an executive secretary helping my bishop and ward in whatever way I could. After my mission I plan on starting a family and teaching my kids the commandments and how true happiness can come through them. I try everyday to become more charitable and kind. I believe that thats how my savior would want me to be since he was the perfect example of it.
