Hi I'm Amanda

Redhead. Native of Arizona. Homeschooling Mother of 5. I'm an indexer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Homeschooling my children keeps me home. My husband has worked from a home office for the majority of our marriage. Our family is constantly together and able to practice how to most effectively work and learn from each other. Most days it feels chaotic. But when we have a successful, accomplished day every few weeks, it is all worth it! We love living near our extended family again after living far away for 6 consecutive years. Volleyball, sewing, Indexing, and reading classic books are some ME-TIME activities.

Why I am a Mormon

The way my mother continues steadfast in faith as she presses forward --has been a strength to my testimony. The various people I have met people throughout my life (some of whom I only needed to be acquainted for a few months) have changed my attitude toward race, religion, ability. We are to learn valuable lessons from everyone we meet. We can find new resolve to live like Jesus Christ when we are open to love and serve and associate with everyone.

How I live my faith

I have a husband who is dedicated to our marriage and our forever family. He continues to take me to the Temple. We have never lived more than 7 minutes away from a Temple. What a foundation it gives us for making improvements in our marriage and in our temporal and eternal goals. A favorite calling I had was teaching the other women in our congregation. Although I felt young and inadequate, I loved witnessing truths spoken through me each time I was properly prepared to teach. I love seeing entire communities getting involved in preparedness and humanitarian efforts. It is so rewarding to join together with a more powerful resolve to make a difference.
