Hi I'm Brendon

I am from Utah. I love everything basketball and my favorite team is the Lakers. I enjoy cycling and other sports. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hi, I am Brendon. My parents are Renae and Bryce. I was born on November 24, 1992 in the FHP Birthing Suite. I lived in Dugway, Utah for the first few years of my life. We then moved to Nampa, Idaho for a few months before coming back to Utah to Rose Park. I went to Backman Elementary while living in Rose Park up until half way through my third grade year when we headed to Midvale. We have lived here now since February of 2002. Basketball is my favorite sport. I play whenever I possibly can, I have lived basketball my entire life. I have been a Lakers fan for as long as I can remember. I don't really know completely how I became one because my whole family loved the Jazz. I just remember being so amazed watching Kobe Bryant play and I would try to copy the things he did. So I guess I just started cheering for his team and I won't ever stop. I am also a huge Batman fan. I love everything about him. I still have all my Batman action figures from when I was little. I use to make my mom sit and watch Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman and Robin. Now I make her watch Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and I will force her to go the The Dark Knight Rises. I also still watch the old ones and even the old TV show and the movie from 1966.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints because I was blessed enough to be born into an LDS family. But the reason I am active again is because I felt the spirit through others in my life that were faithful and I decided to discover the truths for myself. I learned that I had to get my own testimony and not live off other peoples.

How I live my faith

I grew up in the church but I was a rebellious little wippersnappers. I had trouble understanding the gospel so I just pushed it away. I was very stubborn. I became a Deacon when I was 12 but then became inactive when I was almost 13. I missed the opportunity to become a Teacher at 14 because I didn't go back to church until I was 17. I then became a Priest when I was 17 and eventually served as the 1st assistant for a few months until I was honored as an Elder. I have been preparing to go on a Mission for the past couple years and proves that no matter what happens to a person and no matter what they do, the Atonement can wash away anything. I am so thankful for my Father in Heaven and I know that he is there. I am so proud to be worthy to serve a Mission for the Lord. I received my Mission Call on June 27, 2012 to the Florida Tallahassee Mission. I am so excited to bring these blessings to all those people and I hope to mirror Christs hard work and dedication. I hope and pray that everyone who reads on this site will study the Book of Mormon and discover the truth for themselves.
