Hi I'm Natalie

I was born in Israel. I grew up in Michigan. I teach 6th grade. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently teaching 6th grade at an elementary school in Provo. I feel like this is my calling in life and sincerely feel that this is what I have been prepared to do. I love to spend time with my family, play tennis, ping pong, and basically enjoy the company of others. I plan on living somewhere where there are no tornadoes, earthquakes, fires, etc. We'll see how well that goes. :) Watching sports is one of my favorite things and I also enjoy playing the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this religion makes me happy. I am a Mormon because this religion encourages me to do everything that's good. I have done the good things through the course of my life because of the teachings I have learned. I have learned to put the Savior Jesus Christ at the center of my life. I love being able to study his life and see the perfect example that he was when he walked the earth. When applying the Savior's teachings to my life I have seen who I can serve and what things I should be grateful for to make life better. This religion encourages me to be the best person possible and without it I don't know where I would be today. It gives me the direction and guidance that I need to live in this world. I am also a Mormon because of the belief and hope that when I make mistakes I can improve and become a better person through the Savior's atonement. I am so grateful to be a member of a religion that encourages me to become better always and gives me the hope and faith for a better life and the opportunity to live with my family forever in the next. I know without a doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church and wonderful religion to be a part of.

How I live my faith

My faith is my life. That's the bottom line. Every day I try my best to begin my day with a prayer, end my day with a prayer, and study my scriptures. Currently my calling in the church is the Relief Society pianist. It is the greatest calling. I love getting to accompany everyone as they sing some of my favorite hymns that I have heard all of my life. I also get to visit two girls each month and throughout the month to see how they are doing and what's going on in their life. It's so great to know that I can help and be the person that can ensure they know someone cares about them. I also try my best to find others to serve. One thing I have been doing lately is working on being a friend to everyone, even those that I don't think I would connect with on first glance. This has been one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. I have met so many interesting and unique people that I love. I have also learned so much from them and these friendships have benefited me much more than they have benefited them I'm sure. Some days I come home frustrated because I haven't done much to befriend others. However, the beautiful part of the gospel, is that I can start again the next day and continue to improve! In the end I try to live my life like the Savior did. I am nowhere near to that but each day I work on it and that makes all of the difference. :)
