Hi I'm Blake

I grew up in Oregon. I play a lot of video games. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I want to go to college to learn to program video games. I read books sometimes. I am on the internet most of the day and also playing video games.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and continue to be in the church now because I have a firm belief in this church. While my life has not been has harsh as others, I do know some things about adversity and how we have to remain strong even when the skies are dark with no hope in sight.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and participate with my youth group on Wednesdays.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

It should be fairly easy to find a ward or stake nearby by using the phone book. It should be under some variation of 'Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints'. If that doesn't work, there's always the links and phone number above to get you where you need. The church buildings are usually open on Sundays and visitors are welcome. Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Personally, I've never drunk Coffee because of both the word of wisdom and for the fact that to me, it smells terrible. Alcohol and tobacco have also always had a bad smell to me and I avoid both. As well, my well-rounded knowledge of science has contributed to me staying away from these and other substances. Show more Show less
