Hi I'm Kacey

I love this world we live in. I love life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am kind of a diverse person. I love the outdoors, music, photography, and reading. I grew up on a dairy farm in North Florida and would not trade my heritage for anything else. I am now serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (the Mormon church) in Nicaragua spreading our message of happiness. After that I plan on going to college, somewhere... and studying engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but I have experienced the truthfulness of the teachings of our church through living it. As I have lived the teachings of the gospel I have been blessed in so many ways. The family focus of the gospel has strengthened my family relationships, living our standards has given me the freedom from the consequences of sin, and knowing that Jesus Christ is there, he having felt our every pain of mind, soul or body, even when we make mistakes. This knowledge gives me peace like no other. When life gets hard, and I don't know what to do. I know that he knows exactly how I feel, and with this knowledge I can sit completely serene knowing that no matter how tumultuous this world gets, somehow someway it will all be OK.

How I live my faith

I try to "lift" those around me by being positive. This world we live in is so full of negativity and cynicism. I try to find the good in life. Bad things can and do happen, but I know with the help of our Heavenly Father that any trial can be overcome. I have in the past participated in the youth programs of the church and shared my beliefs with my friends in High School. Now I will share it to the people of Nicaragua.

What is faith?

To me to have faith is to act based on our hope and belief in Christ. When I act based on this belief, it over time grows into something more than belief it becaomes knowledge, when I can recognize the confirmations of my faith in my life. Show more Show less
