Hi I'm Andrea

I grew up in Miami. I'm a daughter, a sister an aunt. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in Miami, I was born into the church. I love to cook, make crafts and I love to travel. I has come to understand and know that I am more.....I am a daughter of God, a heavenly King.I really love my family I have learned as I got older that they really are the most important thing that is in my life. The last couple months I have found out how much my family really does love me and I know that someday that I want that for myself. I actually love going to work and spending time with the people that work there none of them are members of the church but they enrich my life everyday and make my life shine. I love being able to be friends with so many different kinds of people I have my parents and the church to thanks for that so that I am able to love people so much and keep on giving love for the rest of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

There is nothing that brings greater happiness in my life than my membership in the church. The teachings of the church have increased my faith in Jesus Christ, provided knowledge of God's plan for me personally, and simply makes me a much better person than I would be otherwise. The commandments keep me safe. I love knowing that God is the same as in olden times and continues to speak today through a living prophet. I am able to see the hand of God in my life on a daily basis. This is the only true church of Jesus Christ with the fullness of his teachings and his authority on the Earth—a bold statement, but I have learned for myself through thoughts ands feelings thru prayers, and applied the teachings of Jesus Christ in my life.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is the essence of not only following Christ's teachings, but trying to become more like him. This is possible on a daily basis through the simple and small things in life-such as smiling and saying hello to people as they walk past me on the sidewalks or stores. I often try to say thank-you to others, even if its just because they took the time to listen to me. I try to say thanks particularly to my parents-especially when I am home visiting and my mom makes dinner for the family. Living my faith is being patient and calm when things don't quite work out as planned. Service is also a huge part! I enjoy projects and love looking for unexpected opportunities to help people throughout the day. I am also a teacher within the church among the young women. I love planning lessons and thinking about the needs of those I teach and how the lesson can be applied also Knowing that I am a daughter of God helps me to reach my potential. I am trying my best to keep the commandments, so I can find true happiness in my life. I view God's commandments as blessings. I know that Heavenly Father will be mindful of those who seek Him. Example is the best teacher. Living what I know to be true is really important to me.
