Hi I'm Sam

I'm 20 years old, I love the outdoors, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

My main hobbies and interests include: Riding, driving, jumping, boarding, building, fixing, shooting, swimming, running, carving, strumming, creating, camping, and of course eating.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up going to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was baptized when I was eight years old. Although I didn't fully understand the significance of this at the time, my knowledge and understanding of the Gospel increased as I continued to attend church and read the scriptures. I'd felt that the things taught to me were true, but I knew I couldn't ride on the testimony of others my whole life. I had to come to know that these things were true for myself. As a result of sincere desire, faith, and asking God, in the name of Christ, the Holy Ghost has borne witness of the truth to me. I know that Jesus Christ is the Redeemer of the world and that through him we can change for the better. He is the only way that we can return to the presence of our Heavenly Father. The Book of Mormon, and the testimonies of living prophets are an anchor for my testimony of Jesus Christ. I know that some of the truths, and also the authority to administer the church that the Savior himself established on the earth were lost for a period of time. I also know that those truths and that authority were again restored in their fullness through the prophet Joseph Smith. He was visited by God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a living prophet. He teaches us the truths that God would have us know in this day and age. I have a knowledge that our families can live together forever, and that is something that I treasure.

How I live my faith

As a full time missionary, I am currently teaching people about our beliefs and helping those who are in need. I invite others to do things that will help them experience the joys of the Gospel in their own life. It is my hope that as I try to live as Christ would, that I will be a way others can recognize the love that He has for them.
