Hi I'm Christine Spears

I am a student, teacher and friend. I love to play piano, teach piano and bake cookies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I an a senior in high school here in Texas. I am planning on becoming a Nurse Practitioner through a local university. I have been playing piano for over 10 years and I have been a piano teacher for children in my community for 3 years. I have many potentials in my future! I am here to be a mother in Zion, and raise a family after I serve a mission. I love to learn and attend my church meetings. I love to spend time reading the Book Of Mormon, especially with my brother. We have disscussions about all the truth it contains. I believe life goals are very important to set and achieve through the guidance of our loving Father in heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

Being "Mormon," is more than our religion, it is a lifestyle. It's like walking in sunlight! I am a member of this church because I have had the most positive assurance of its truth. I know my eternal potential, and the Savior's love for me. He has a plan for all of us! My plan this church, as it is for all his children, just different steps for the making of our glorious lives. I have a strong testimony of the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and especially in the process of repentance. Is there something in your life you need to change? The Savior has made any change possible trough his atonement for us. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is a blessing to all because only through Him, can we be saved. He has made our potential great; only if we come unto Him, and be baptized in His name. I know that when I made the choice to be baptized and confirmed a member of the church, the Holy Ghost was given to me and has been able to be an added comfort for me in this life. The Holy Ghost has spoken to me in a still small voice and given me the assurance that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only way to be happy on Earth, and makes it possible to live with God again. I know I have felt His influence, for me, belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, has been the greatest choice I have ever made, and one I continue to make. I know I have been ever greatly blessed, and I thank our Father in Heaven each day the blessing of happiness and assurance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by understanding the importance of each decision we make here on Earth. Decisions determine destiny, and if I am to accomplish all my earthly goals, as well as my eternal goals, I must do all I can to make proper choices today. I have completed a youth program called "Personal Progress." It is such a wonderful program to complete. I would work on it at school and get asked many questions, which would then lead to missionary experiences. The standards and morals I try to live by are found in a pamphlet called "For the Strength of Youth." The happiness that comes from staying along these guidelines, and striving to live a life of righteousness is an assurance to me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church upon the earth. It is my choice where I stand in this world. I know when I choose to stand with Christ, I am a great example to my family, and to my peers. People always ask me why I am so happy, and they tell me I have this light. The thought always comes to my mind; it is because of the way I live. I live by faith in Jesus Christ and His gospel! His light shines through me.
