Hi I'm Andrew Lamont Jessop

I served my mission in Paraguay. I enjoy reading the scriptures and going to the temple. I strive to be like Jesus Christ

About Me

Hi, I'm Andrew and I am going to BYUI this coming fall. I am 18 and just graduated high school from Peninsula. I played football and volleyball in high school. I love star wars with a passion. I read the books, I have lightsabers, I've watched the movies countless times, I have action figures and so on. I love classic cars. My grandpa, dad, and I have been restoring a 57 chevy bel air for a few years now and I have really gained a passion for classic cars. I am an eagle scout and I think all young men should do boy scouts because it is awesome. I plan on going on a mission and I don't know where. I have grown up in the church being born into it. I am grateful that I was born in the church and that I had the opportunity to know the truth at a young age. I know that this church is true and I love this gospel and it really is a blessing that I have that knowledge.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church. I love the people, I love the friendships, I love the willingness people have to help one another, and I love Jesus Christ and our heavenly father. I was born in this church and it truly is a blessing. I love gods mercy and his love for us. He sent his only begotten down to die for our sins so we may return to heavenly father again. I am grateful for the atonement. Its the only way we can return to heavenly father. The day I felt the burning in the "bossum" as they call it was the first time I blessed the sacrament in sacrament meeting when I was 16. I felt the spirit and all its extremities and it was the greatest feeling I had ever felt previous to that day. I knew that I was doing the right thing and following gods commandments and doing what his is asking of me righteously. I know this gospel is true.

How I live my faith

i love home teaching and visiting teaching because you truly get the chance to get to know the members of the ward and investigators of the church. You also get the opportunity to share your testimony which is pretty cool.
