Hi I'm Abi

I'm an early childhood education professional, righteously tenacious, a whovian, I'm a mormon.

About Me

I was born and faithfully raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have a wonderful and loving mother, father and younger brother. I have lived in about 5 different states. My mom and dad home schooled me all the way through high school, although I did attend a Montessori school for a year when I was 5. I love to learn new things, and help children learn about themselves and and how they effect their environment. Seeing children work things out for themselves is simply amazing! Gardening and running are among my favorite things to do. Someday I want to be a stay at home mom, home school my children, and have a wonderful, loving and hard working husband who is faithful in the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

Through all the years, the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has always remained the same. It has always been important to me to have consistency in my life. All the different places i've lived have been very different; places change, people change, but the truth of the gospel, it's principles, doctrine and scriptures have remained unwavering.

How I live my faith

The example I set is through my actions words and thoughts, never doing or saying anything that I would be ashamed of. I have been blessed with the opportunity to have part in the church's nursery with the toddlers. It's amazing to see how sensitive children are to the tiniest subconscious feeling from others. By observing that about children I have learned to be the same way with the promptings from the lord.

How can we stop the spread and influence of pornography?

Once an individual has realized the physical, mental and spiritual harm that coincides with participating in such an activity, such an individual can help stop the influence by seeking out others to befriend who's standards are such that they will bolster a self worth and a will to do right, and seek out righteous activity worthy of a child of God. Once they have established and guarded themselves in a healthy pattern they may befriend others that need friends, involve others in activities that will keep them busy so as to avoid entertaining idle minds, that they may be filled with productive thoughts and actions that will enable them to be guided by the spirit.
