Hi I'm Joseph Marler

I'm an Engineer. I'm a black belt in Tae Kwon Doe. I'm serving a mission in Medellin Colombia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old. I do volunteer work at my local high school. I mentor high school students in building competition robots for FIRST Robotics. I have recently graduated form high school and I have been accepted to BYU Idaho and I will be studying mechanical engineering. I however put my education on hold so I can serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Medellín Colombia Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormom faith, so I was always surrounded and immersed by the faith. Over time however, I soon began to take ownership of my faith. It changed from being the faith of my parents and family to being my own faith. It all began when I decided for myself that I must gain my own testimony of why I do what I do. After diligent study, soul-searching, and prayer to my Father in heaven, I recived an an answer I could never negate or deny, that what I have loved and cherished is indeed true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to become more like Christ. Though I know it is dificult, I live each day to my best to reach that goal. I live my faith by learning more about how I can better myself and by learning more about Jesus Christ, and then act accordingly, by living his teachings.
