Hi I'm Bobby

Born and raised in Wyoming, transplanted in Grand Junction, Colorado. I'm a Builder, a Plumber, a Husband and a Dad.

About Me

I'm a builder! I started in construction straight out of high school. I had different ideas as to what my career path would be when I was younger, but the longer I stayed in construction the more it suited me. Now I love it. I also love biking, motorcycles, history, and so many other things...but a very big thing that I love today is my faith. I'm a convert to the church. I had a long, winding road to get here but I know that it was worth the journey. I'm happily married to my best friend, and we have 3 beautiful kids.

Why I am a Mormon

It took me a year to fully investigate the church before my baptism. I was a skeptic, to say the least. I was blessed to have some amazing, patient, spiritual people around me that listened to my worries, answered my questions and most importantly reminded me that right action, scripture study and prayer would answer every question I had. They were right!

How I live my faith

As a convert, I live my faith by staying true to the Word of Wisdom first and foremost. By abstaining from tobacco, alchohol, coffee, tea and engaging in physical work I keep my body in the best shape that I can. We do this for a number of reasons, but I think the most important one is so that I can be ready to serve my fellow man at any time. I'm also our Ward's Cubmaster, a calling that I've recently recieved. It's important to me to be a good leader to the Cub Scouts in my care. Being a Mormon helps me to refine myself on a daily basis, and through my own experience I can teach others.
