Hi I'm Emelie

I love playing the piano, singing, and reading; I'm a missionary in South Carolina; and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music! I have been playing the piano since I was five years old, and singing since I was nine. I enjoy performing just so I can watch people light up when the music touches them in ways that only music can. I also love to read; especially a good romance novel! I can sit down for hours at a time with a new book and finish it within a day or two. I am currently attending college, and that has been a crazy adventure for sure! Like most college students, I am proud to say that I have survived so far, and I hope that success continues to last!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon, but as I entered my teenage years I began to desire to know for myself if this gospel is true. Finding that truth wasn't easy. I had a lot of questions and doubts, and I was at first hesitant to accept this as the true church. However, as I continued to attend my weekly church meetings, pray and read the Book of Mormon every day, and exercise faith in the Savior, I was able to receive the knowledge that this gospel is indeed true. Anyone that desires to know is capable of receiving this same knowledge, but it requires effort and diligence on our part. I know that as you attend church meetings every Sunday, read the Book of Mormon and sincerely pray to know of its truth each and every day, and exercise faith in the Savior, that you can also come to this knowledge. From this gospel I have been able to find true happiness, peace, and meaning in my life. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior, and this is His true gospel.

How I live my faith

I am a full-time missionary in South Carolina. I love being able to share my experiences and feelings with those who have questions, or just need a friend. As I serve each day, I feel that I am growing closer to the Savior.
