Hi I'm Ginger Olsen

Laughing is my favorite.

About Me

I am Ginger. I come from a big family that I love more than anything. Laughing really is my favorite and I try to do it often. I'm currently majoring in music and working as a voice teacher. I believe that music has the power to move people in a way that other means cannot accomplish. I also love being outdoors and going on adventures. I have been part of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints for my entire life and have loved every moment of it. I have become who I am because of the opportunity I have had to learn of my Savior, Jesus Christ and try to live as He taught. I served a mission in Brazil where I helped people to grow closer to their Savior by faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and encouraging them to endure to the end. That country and its people will forever be in my heart. I love my Heavenly Father and I can't help but love people. I believe that all our life endeavors should be centered on our most important eternal goals.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I have a firm testimony that the Priesthood keys and all the keys for us to return to our Heavenly Father's presence have been restored. This means that all that was lost after Christ's death and the fall of the fundamental religion He established, have been restored to the earth. A Prophet that receives revelation directly from God is present today. God's power is here on earth and lost truths have been brought back. I continue to live and love being a Mormon because of the closeness I feel to my Heavenly Father when I do what I know to be right. Because I commune with my Father in Heaven, I know it is true.

How I live my faith

I strive to choose the right and share what I know to be true with others every day. I believe that praying daily and reading God's word daily is essential to living my faith and I strive to do that every day. I also believe that how we treat others is very important. Christ gave two great commandments, the second being love thy neighbor as thyself. Attending church and fulfilling my church responsibilities is very important to me. I also believe that the family unit is the most important unit in any society. I'm trying to live in a way that my future family can be strong and steadfast in following Jesus Christ.

How can I know Mormonism is true?
