Hi I'm Todd

I'm married to an angel, I'm the father of five wonderful children, I'm a big rig truck driver, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in an LDS home where I was taught the gospel of Jesus Christ. While growing up I enjoyed playing basketball with my little brother and friends in my nieghborhood. I served an LDS mission at 19 and joined the United States Marine Corps when I was 21. I served durning Desert Shield/ Desert Storm in the country of Saudi Arabia. Shortly after my return I met and married my wonderful wife and we have 5 beautiful children. I drive big rig for a living and get to see a lot of the U.S. and meet a lot of great people. I like to learn new things about our country and also about my religion. I enjoy getting to know people and learn about them.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born and raised into a mormon home, and served a mission for the church; there comes a time when everyone has to find out for themselves if what they have been taught and believed is true. This did happen to me as well. there was a time I went searching for other answers. During this time I stopped attending the LDS church and sought for other things, things that I thought would make me happy. The scriptures tell us there is a worldly happiness and a spirtual happiness. the Savior taught us in the new testiment that who so ever partook of the bread and water that he offered would never hunger or thirst again. It took me a while to really figure out that he was talking about himself and that if we would turn our lives over to him and not chase after the things of this world that I would be much happier. I know that my Heavenly Father knows the begining from the end of all things. He is aware of each and everyone of us and our struggles in life. he is there to catch us when we fall. He loves unconditionally, which I am very grateful for. I am thankful that he sent his only begotten son in the flesh; Jesus Christ; to atone fro the sins of the world that we might all take atvantage of his love and repent and come unto him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by starting and ending each day with prayer to my Heavenly Father for the blessings I have recieved, and continue to recieve in my life each day. I find joy in not only reading from the scriptures each day but studying them and learning from them. I particapate in famliy scripture study and prayer aslo which strengthens my famliy. I attened my church meetings each sunday and renew my covenents that I made with my Savior when I was baptized. I also have the blessing and oppertunity to make sure that the church gets cleaned on saturday in preperation for sunday meetings. I help my wife around the house when I'm home by keeping it clean, doing dishes, cooking, taking care of the kids, ect...
