Hi I'm Candice

I'm a filmmaker, a daughter of God, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from college and now I am off to the city of Los Angeles to get a career in the film industry. Right now I am an intern, and every day is a new adventure. When I am not sitting in traffic or running errands, I am watching or making movies. But deep down, I am a bit of a home body. I love my family, and even though this may sound a bit nerdy, I consider them some of my best friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe in the worth of each individual person on earth. I firmly believe that God continuously and unconditionally loves every single one of us on earth. I'm a Mormon because my faith makes room for everyone on earth to be cared and loved by the greatest being in the universe. I know, that sounds a bit intense, but it's true. God loves each of us enough that he sent his son Jesus Christ to come and teach us, and also sacrifice himself for our sins. It basically comes down to this, God loves you, and will always love you. His love is accessible at all times. We are never alone.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being charitable to others. Being "charitable" can sometimes sound like a loaded word, but if we follow the example of Christ, charity is not just our actions but our thoughts. I try to be charitable in my actions and thoughts. This means whenever I am with someone I try my best to make that person feel safe, wanted, and appreciated. I try to emulate how Christ would treat me when I am with another person. Obviously I am flawed and human and sometimes I forget this, but I know if I am diligent I can get better.
