Hi I'm Bethany Parkinson

I'm a BYU student, I live in Pennsylvania, I love to travel, I'm beyond excited to serve a mission in Tahiti, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read, play soccer, and play the piano. I also enjoy learning new things and being with my friends. The gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me to understand my life and keep a sense of purpose. It has helped me to feel joy in the simplest of everyday tasks and realize that true happiness comes through Christ and His Atonement.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that I have changed for the better because of the gospel; I know that the Spirit has helped me out of many a rough patch; I know that the Lord has aided me into becoming a better person; I know that the Atonement of Christ makes it so that I can live with Him and my family forever; for all of this, I am eternally grateful.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by holding high standards. I let my light shine so that people can tell that I'm different, that I'm special. I've found that sharing my standards leads to a lot of gospel discussions. In my ward, I do the program each week and I've found that kids at school are really impressed by that, that I do extra work for my church. I've also found that my friends are really interested in the activities we do, such as Girls' Camp, EFY, and Youth Conference. By sharing these experiences, I've shared the gospel with lots of people.
