Hi I'm Jake Bradley

I'm from Belleville, Michigan. I love Jazz music and expressing myslef. I love chemistry. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a really laid back person. I'm never in a rush and I love to just stroll around town. I love to play the trumpet. Jazz music has played a big role in the development of my character. I love the swing feel and the relaxed expression of what is inside. I love to do improvised solos and really express what I am feeling. I love science, especially chemistry. I love to see how everything in the world is made up and I love to understand more about why the world is the way it is. I love to cook using my knowledge of chemistry. It makes it fun!

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was raised going to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life, I struggled to know if it was all true. Throughout most of my life I didn't really care to know if it was true. I developed the belief system that religion was a good thing that helps people be better people, but that it was nothing more than that. Thinking that way seemed to satisfy my mind, but I never felt happy. My heart yearned for something and I didn't know what it was. I figured that since I had been going to church nearly every week for my whole life I must have had an answer buried somewhere in my mind. Deep down I knew what I had to do to find peace and joy. I read the Book of Mormon and asked my Heavenly Father if it was true, just like we learn to do from missionaries and in church. God answered me with a very strong testament that He loves me and that this church is true. In that moment I found out that there is a God. He loves us and answers our prayers! I know it for myself now and I have never had so much peace of heart and of mind.

How I live my faith

I serve people in the little ways I can. I donate blood, I hold doors for people, I smile a lot. I live my faith by being a happy loving person.
