Hi I'm Brinna

I came from a small town in Wyoming. I'm a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a full time college student at. I love baseball and grew up playing it. I love to read and write. I come from a family of 9, I am the second oldest. I am very close to all of my siblings and my parents. When I was younger, my family had foster children in our home. We had three different children in our home, one of which we adopted and she is now my little sister. I was very involved in high school in activities including Drama, FCCLA, Yearbook, NHS, and church activities. My love for FCCLA and the focus on family and home life have inspired me to pursue a degree in Family Consumer Science Education.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the strength I receive from living the gospel and its principles. I grew up in this church and have come to love it dearly. The Spirit has testified to me that this church true and the importance of the Book of Mormon. I have read it multiple times and it makes a difference in how I act or feel when I read it daily. I love having the Holy Spirit as a constant companion as I strive to make good choices and become a better person so one day I can return to my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

This summer I was able to work in the Nursery in my home ward. This calling required patience and love since small children aren't always happy or helpful. I loved my calling and teaching simple lessons to them such as, I Can Pray or I Love Jesus. In my student ward at college I am a Visiting Teaching Supervisor so I encourage other women to do their visiting teaching each month and I report who has completed their Visiting Teaching.
