Hi I'm Marian Kraus Denardo

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. I am a mother, wife, and grandmother. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read and work in my flower gardens. I have worked as a teacher, office administrator, academic counselor, sales representative, and even a telephone operator. However, my favorite jobs were being a wife, mother, homemaker, and now a grandmother. I have been married to a wonderful man for 33 years. I have 4 children and two beautiful grandchildren. I spend a great deal of my time traveling to visit my family. I have been a member of this church for 27 years and have grown to love the Gospel and have incorporated it into my daily life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the restored Gospel. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that the Book of Mormon is on this earth to help us to return to live with our Heavenly Father once again. The scriptures help us to know how to get back to our heavenly home. I believe that our Prophet guides us in these latter days. I believe in the power of prayer. I believe in families and that these families can be together forever. I love to go to the Temple. I love studying genealogy and learning about my ancestors and their contributions to society. I know, without a doubt that this is the true Church and that my life has been blessed because of my membership in it.

How I live my faith

I have been recently called as a teacher at church. I have been given the opportunity to teach the women of the church. It is a calling that I truly enjoy. I have participated in many callings at church. However, my most challenging was being called as the chorister for the women. I could barely read music, no less conduct. I did learn and learned to love the opportunity. I have taught the youth and participated in girls camps in the summer with the young women. I have taught the new members of the church. I have also been in charge of the children's Sunday School program. These callings have given me the opportunity to work closely with other members and develop talents that I did not know I even possessed.
