Hi I'm Talia

I grew up in Orlando, Florida. I work with amputees that were injured while fighting for our country. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I recently welcomed our first child into our lives. I enjoy playing tennis, cooking, playing piano, exploring the outdoors, spending time with family, and traveling to new places.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives me direction. Through a modern day prophet, Thomas S. Monson, we receive revelation for our day. Through prayer, I can talk directly with my Father in Heaven and receive answers/comfort. Through the Plan of Salvation, I know where I came from before this life, why I am here on earth, and where I'm going after this life. My direction is focused on my Savior, learning of Him and trying to serve/love others as He did.

How I live my faith

Living the gospel has made me the happiest, healthiest person I can be. I help organize the LDS music in our local congregation including main worship services, for children, youth and adults. I enjoy being apart of the annual Girl's Camp that girls ages 12-18 voluntarily attend each summer. Girl's Camp is full of hikes, certifications, devotionals, songs, building character, and growing closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.

What is being a Mormon like?

Talia
Awesome. Living our standards allow me to be free of addictions, have a close relationship with my Savior, and have joy in my family and work life. Mormons serve. We serve fellow Mormons, non-Mormons, everyone. By doing service, Christ-like love is felt among both parties involved and true happiness is experienced. Being a Mormon is rewarding, full of helping hands, and the sweetest thing since sliced bread. Show more Show less
