Hi I'm Marshelle

I'm a Licensed Practical Nurse, I'm a Type 1 diabetic, I'm a daughter and a sister, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was blessed to be born into a loving home, to goodly parents who love the Lord and have taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a young single adult in the church, living on my own with awesome roommates. I love going to the Single's Ward and learning from people my own age who love this gospel as much as I do! I love snowboarding, reading, hiking, and recently, learning to play the harmonica.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born and raised in this church, I had to ultimately decide for myself what to believe and know. I find strength to overcome trials and struggles in life through the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that we have a Father in Heaven who loves us and knows each of us. Because of that love, He sent His son, Jesus Christ to atone for the sins of the world. Christ suffered in agony so that I can repent of my sins, and so that I can live with my family and loved ones for eternity. I am so grateful for that knowledge! We live in a time of such uncertainty and suffering. In a world filled with wickedness, it is such a blessing to have the truthfulness of this gospel on the earth. Jesus Christ is my Rock. He is my friend. He is my advocate. I continue to follow His gospel because the Holy Ghost has borne witness to me that it is true. By praying to my Heavenly Father, reading the scriptures, and following the modern revelations given to our prophets, I am filled with a peace and a joy that allow me to overcome the trials in my life.

How I live my faith

I know that true happiness in this life comes from living the gospel of Jesus Christ and it's standards. By taking the teachings of this church and applying them to my life, I am able to find the strength to overcome trials and deepen my love for my Father in Heaven and for His gospel. I currently have two callings in my young single adult ward. I am a ward missionary, and I enjoy the blessings of teaching and interacting with new members and investigators of the church. I also have the opportunity to teach a class to the women of my ward once a month. I love the opportunity to teach. It gives me the ability to learn from the sisters in my ward and to strengthen my own testimony that this is God's church.
