Hi I'm Wendy

I am an actress and a writer, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love spending time with my family and friends, and I'm always up to make new friends. Making movies is my favorite thing to do. I enjoy living healthy, cooking, reading, writing, road cycling, and going on a good date.

Why I am a Mormon

In my early adult life I really struggled to find purpose and stability in my life. It seemed I could chase after worldly things only to have those things vanish as quickly as they appeared. I did everything I could to avoid the truth and the pain of my situation. I always believed in God and I thought that was enough. When I saw that it wasn't I had to learn about having a higher power. Although I believed in Him I didn't put my faith in His Son to let him guide my life. I came to learn that following Christ wasn't abandoning who I was as I had once believed. But that through Him I could be what He created me to become! My personal faith teaches me to question everything, and seek answers for myself, and Christ's gospel teaches me to do the same.

How I live my faith

Choosing to follow Christ is so much more than attending church meetings on Sunday. I serve in the church alongside the missionaries to share about Christ and the restoration of His gospel upon the Earth, and about Prophets that lead and guide us today. Relief Society activities bring me close to sisters who are such a strength and inspiration in my life. We work to sustain each other in good times and rough times. In my work outside of church, as I write or create films or art I try to always remember to stand as a witness of Christ, never leaving my faith behind at the door, but to share with courage and confidence who is the source of light in my life.
