Hi I'm Tanner

I'm an Assistant Scoutmaster. I'm a Baseball Coach and a Nationally Accredited Umpire and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Baseball Coach and a Nationally Accredited Baseball Umpire. I am an Assistant Scoutmaster and Merit Badge Counselor for a local Boy Scout troop. I help to coordinate an international exchange program at a local High School. I went on an International Service Project to Vanuatu.

Why I am a Mormon

The teachings I have learned as a member of this church have blessed my life enormously. I have received direction in my life. I have found comfort in realizing the happiness we can obtain in this life and in the life to come. By standing up for what I believe in, I have been able to have a positive impact on others through my involvement in the community. I understand how important families are to God.

How I live my faith

I feel that families are very important. I enjoy spending time with my family. We do activities together to strengthen our family relationships. From being a member of this church, I have come to understand that this life is not the end and we can be together as a family forever. The good principles I have learned growing up have given me direction in my life and have prepared me to face life's challenges with faith and hope.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Our Father in Heaven knows and loves each one of us individually. We can develop our own personal relationship with him by reaching out to him in Prayer. We can know and better understand him and his will for us by reading, studying and pondering the holy scriptures, keeping the commandments and following the words of the living prophet upon the Earth today who serves as his mouthpiece to guide us and lead us back to him. Heavenly Father wants to help us and sometimes he is just waiting for us to reach out to him and welcome his guiding hand into our life. When we put our trust in him and come to him in prayer he will draw nearer to us and we will feel his love. Show more Show less
