Hi I'm Sara Turner

I'm a student at Utah State University, and a full time missionary, I love life, my family and my religion, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Sara, I'm a Junior in college majoring in Social Work. Specifically health care and Genetic Counseling. I play Lacrosse, I am a mid field & Attack player. I love everything about it. I love to dance, I took formal lessons for fourteen years, Ballet was my favorite. I enjoy sports, especially Football and Hockey, and I love good food. Currently I'm serving a mission in Minneapolis Minnesota and I love sharing the Gospel with others!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have come to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true and complete Church of Christ, restored through the prophet Joseph Smith by divine revelation. It gives me purpose in life and brings me peace, hope and joy. I know that Jesus Christ is the son of God. He died for us because He loves us. I know that He lives and that through Him we can change. I've felt the power of His Atonement personally. I know that through Jesus Christ there isn't anything we can't overcome. He will heal us if we will turn to Him. He makes us whole. I know this is true because I've felt it in my own life. I've prayed to know if the Book of Mormon is true and after reading it and asking God, I believe that it is the word of God, and that it was translated and preserved through Him. The priesthood is the power of God given to men. It's the same power and authority that Christ held while He was on the earth. I believe these things, because through personal revelation God has revealed truth to me. I know that He will reveal truth to anyone who has the faith to ask.

How I live my faith

I'm always trying to live my life in a way that reflects the Gospel of Christ. I'm grateful for the opportunity I have to serve a mission and teach the Gospel. I love it.
