Hi I'm Kimberley Anne Linford

I'm a singer. I speak 3 languages. I'm sick once a week. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college bound aggie (Utah state.). I love brazil and my family there. I've spent my whole life singing and i consider myself a savant... because it's the only thing I can ever see myself doing. I also am an avant blogger... I'm not eloquent what-so-ever but yet I word vomit until something good comes out. I used to not be into my religion and was doing everything a teenager can do wrong. I never denied my church, but I was against the laws that were put in front of me. I spent 2 years of my life in the dark and trapped in this place i couldn't escape. If the missionaries hadn't pushed my mom to let them come over one morning I probably wouldn't be the faithful latter-day saint i am today.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon not just because I was born into it. There was a time where I was doing everything wrong possible and one day the missionaries came over and I remembered what it was like to be happy. I fell back in love with the church and started to do a complete 180 with a single goal in mind: to be able to be worthy to go back into the temple. I'm a Mormon because I know that it's true and I yearn for all my friends and family to believe in it too. The gospel leads to so much happiness that it's undeniable how true it is. I was not the same person when I was off being the rebellious person I was. I was constantly depressed and allowed my Lupus to get me even more depressed. Once I was back into the church I felt the constant love that I missed in my life and i started to not feel as sick on a daily basis. In short I'm a Mormon because being a Mormon means being happy in my eyes. I could never picture myself without my religion anymore, and I never want to.

How I live my faith

I go to church.. every... sunday. I made up for the 2 years I stopped going by finishing my personal progress, doing service, and inviting the missionaries over at least once a week. I love the missionaries especially and I'm always keen to introduce them to my friends and feed them. I live my faith by constantly believing that everything happens for a reason and that Heavenly Father puts trials in front of me to help me grow and become the person that I am now.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Kimberley Anne Linford
The Book of Mormon is another record talking about the belief of christ in a different land. It shows the pure faith showed by the people occupying the land without seeing him, and when he finally does come to them they live in peace for many years. It goes about the tails of the people learning of christ and fighting each other constantly due to different beliefs, but it ends in a promise of the truth of the witness of christ that appears. The Book of Mormon pretty much goes together with the bible in confirming the divinity of Christ and how no matter what he still loves us and died for our sins. Show more Show less
