Hi I'm Logan

I dream big, I'm happy to be alive and most important I am a Latter-Day Saint.

About Me

"Do not die with your music still in you" I am the second child of four. I was born to amazing parents and grew up in the church. I am so thankful for them. My family is most important. And of course you can't forget about my friends. All growing up I was surounded by LDS kids in a small town in Sugar City, Idaho and like most people, I had my peaks and valleys growing up. I didnt always do what you know your supposed to do. It brings alot of regret, let me tell you. I love to laugh, joke, smile and have fun. Music is my life. I also love basketball, soccer, hunting and going riding at the sand dunes. I love watching the NBA, Kobe Bryant is my idol. I like to work hard and achieve things on my own. I have a 100 point "bucket-list" I hope to complete in my lifetime. I love my Lord, Jesus Christ and I know that He lives. At this very moment, He is standing somewhere, "Going about doing good". I enjoy the little things in life. "Happiness is the object and design of our existence." -Joseph Smith

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up not living my life to my full potential but, as I have gotten older I finally saw what I was missing out on. By not living the gospel I wasn't happy. I was lacking something and I didn't know what. But the closer I came to Jesus Christ and His teachings and reading the scriptures the more joy i found and that void I had was filled. I am a Mormon because I know this church, Christ's church, has ALL of the truth. Nothing is confusing, nothing is missing. And I wouldn't be able to find this happiness anywhere else. And I am happy to say that I am a Latter-Day Saint.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others, I just want to be a charitable person. I love the scriptures, each and everyday i try to be more converted than the day before, it is a process. I do my best to be an example to others and since I have come to see the great knowledge I've gained and the many blessings I have recieved, I want to do all I can to help others have those same blessings in their life... "9.I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory in myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy. 10.And behold, when I see my many of my brothers truly penitant, and coming to the Lord their God, then is my soul filled with joy; then do I remember what the Lord has done for me, yea, even that He hath heard my prayer; yea, then do I remember His merciful arm which He extended towards me." (Alma 29:9-10)

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

One of my favorite scriptures says "And we will prove them herewith, to see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them" (Abraham 3:25) So with that, my belief is that we should do whatever the Lord asks of us. Its not about earning heaven, its about becoming heavenly. We do that by obeying and progressing. I know that God loves us so He gave us a body to live and learn. He has given us the freedom to choose joy or sorrow. He wants us to make the right choices and someday become as He is. Show more Show less
