Hi I'm Tevita Tuitupou

I am an American-Born Tongan who loves to play sports, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a Tongan family. At home, I spoke nothing but Tongan, and was able to keep the culture of my family strong. I am the third youngest of 9 children. Two of which, have been in a foster home for most of their lives. I love to go camping, work out, and most of all play sports! Football, Tennis, Rugby, and Basketball are my main attractions. I am a very competitive person when it comes to sports and I highly dislike to lose.

Why I am a Mormon

Every day I feel as if I come closer and closer with the Lord. The main reason is because I feel like I have brought myself to a point in my life where the Lord is in tune. Every morning I pray and ask our Heavenly Father to help me get throughout the day in safety. And before I go to bed, thank Him for all that I have. I always know that I can turn to the Lord whenever I am struggling with a task, or just for Him to help me get advice. And living righteously and keeping His commandments, I know that He will always be there for me.

How I live my faith

As a member of the LDS faith, I try my best to live by the standards and the teachings of it. Sundays, are days of rest and worship. I am lucky enough to say that I am one of the teachers in my ward. Every 2nd, and 3rd Sunday's, I am able to share stories and teachings through the Book of Mormon and wise words of our Prophets. I also am a home teacher with my dad, who is always on top of things when it comes to visiting people in the ward, and giving service to those in need.
