Hi I'm MacKenzie

I'm from New Hampshire. I'm a college student. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have four siblings, I am second oldest. I am currently a college student, studying music. I love music; listening to it, writing it, playing it. I like photography, reading, and going to the gym, or doing anything that's active. I like meeting new people and traveling. I love languages. I hope to become fluent in at least three. I like naps. I want to live in southern California the rest of my life. I love the beach. I get excited about things really quickly, even really tiny things. And, I'm happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. However, I struggled all through high school about what I believed. I went through different phases and degrees of disbelief, my lowest point being close to atheism. It wasn't until I was across the country for school, with no friends, no family, and no direction, that I was finally humble enough to truly want to know for myself if the gospel was true. It was after I realized this that I felt a change in my desires, and my heart, that allowed me to feel the spirit. Step by step, I grew in my belief and testimony of the church, through the scriptures, and prayer, and examples of friends in the gospel. Two years later, I am truly converted. I am so happy, I am full of joy. I have a purpose, I have a plan, I know where I came from, and I know where I am going. I know who I am. I have a testimony of the gospel, it is at the head of everything I do, it leads and guides me every step of the way. I know this church is true, I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ, that it is the word of God. I know that He lives and loves me.

How I live my faith

My faith is in every decision I make. I start and end my days with prayer. I go to church every sunday. I am close with my family. My life is easier and brighter when I am living by the principles of the gospel. It makes me a better person.
