Hi I'm Elder Brown

On June 12th, I will arrive at the Provo MTC and study to be a great missionary for six weeks then head to Chihuahua, Mexico

About Me

I have just finished my freshman year at Brigham Young University-Provo and am now living at home until I go on my mission. I enjoy living the Gospel of Jesus Christ and learning of its doctrines. I have been a member of the LDS church my entire life.

Why I am a Mormon

My conversion was set for me by my family but I was the one that made the choice of being baptized at the age of 8. Everyday, my family is there to support me. In the LDS faith, the family is the central concept. Our Heavenly Father wants all of His children to live with Him. So, I became a Mormon so that I can help fulfill our Father's plan. I know He lives and that He does care for all of us and that He uses the Holy Ghost and other people to help watch over us. He sent prophets to prophesy of the coming of the Redeemer of the World, His Son, our elder brother, Jesus Christ. When Jesus did come to the Earth, he did nothing but serve his fellow brothers and sisters. The perfect example and perfect model to look to when struggling. I strive everyday to become like him. I do my best, by expressing my gratitude to the Lord by being a great example myself. I am not afraid to talk about the Gospel, but look for that moment as a teaching moment. I have helped many; through the use of an example, by magnifying my callings, and doing daily acts of service. I am basically preparing myself for the Second Coming, so that I may live with my Heavenly Father in Celestial Glory with my entire family.

How I live my faith

I take my faith real seriously and know when I need to be reverent and when I can be playful. Past callings I have had were Deacon and Teacher's Quorum President and the Bishop's First Assistant in my home ward in Arizona. My senior year in high school, I was called to be the 2011-2012 Seminary President of the Page Arizona Stake. Almost every opportunity I have, I do my best to share my testimony to others.
