Hi I'm Naomi Scherette.

I love music, I love rugby, I love helping others and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love rugby and I'm a very strong All Blacks, Tonga and Chiefs fan. My family is everything to me, I can never spend enough time with them! I enjoy learning new instruments and I consider myself a pro-listener of music. I play the piano, flute, tenor sax and I love to sing in the shower. I'm a daughter, sister and friend. I also like hiking, gardening, learning new things, crafts, cooking and baking, sports and having a good time.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it brings so much joy and happiness to my life. With this church, it's like God is 5 steps ahead of you and you have to run to catch up. You realize His hand in your life everyday. Being Mormon isn't WHAT I am, it is an essential part of WHO I am. I've struggled a lot in the past year or so and the Gospel and Christ are the only things that remain constant on a daily basis. It's humbling to not only know these things, but to feel them every single day. I'm a Mormon because I love my family, I love my Heavenly Father, I know that He answers my prayers, I believe in the Book of Mormon. It truly is a beautiful gift. I believe that families can be together forever. I believe in being part of something that is bigger than myself.

How I live my faith

Life gives me so many opportunities to be around other's and to serve. Service is infectious. Plain and simple. It's always a humbling experience. I'm currently serving as a Junior Nursery worker, it is a handful! An amazing handful though. I wouldn't trade my calling for anything. To see their faces every Sunday and to watch them sing and play is an indescribable joy.
