Hi I'm Stacie

I'm a very blessed wife, and mother of 4 beautiful girls. I've lived in utah my entire life.

About Me

I love being a mom. It's the most challenging yet rewarding thing I've ever done and ever will do. I love being a member of the LDS church. I believe in it whole heartedly. I am a sports fan, hand me a ball of any type and I'll play it with you. I'm a wannabe crafter, I love trying to create things. Even though they never turn out as good as I thought they would, it's a fun outlet.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was in high school, I had an experience that changed my heart. I was already LDS, grew up in the LDS faith. I always believed it, but never KNEW it to be true for myself. A good friend of mine of another religion had a history class with me at the time. He started to question me and my religion, question why I believed this and would point out things that, at the time, confused me, because I didn't know enough yet, didn't have a testimony yet. I went to one of my trusted adult friends (my seminary teacher), and asked him about a specific thing I was having a hard time with. He answered it very simply, but the power of the Holy Ghost I felt at that time, and as I said my prayers about this question, stayed with me, even 20 years later. I remember it like it was yesterday. The overpowering feeling i got was simple, The church is true. I knew in that moment that I may not have all the answers right then, but I didn't need to. I just needed to trust the Holy Ghost. I walked out of the building after talking to him with tears in my eyes (he had no idea why I'd asked the question, or what it meant to me.) But there was no doubt in my mind of the religion I wanted to follow after that. Since then, I've had many many experiences that confirm what I first felt that day. Too many to deny. This church is the true church of Jesus Christ. He leads it, and we are His followers. I want to live with Him and my Heavenly Father someday, with my family surrounding me. This would be my greatest joy.

How I live my faith

I'm currently the secretary of our huge primary, where I get to work with the cute kids every sunday, listen to their testimonies, and feel of their gigantic spirits. I am on 2 pta school boards (elementary and jr high). How can you say yes to one and not to the other? I love getting to know people and being inside my children's school, learning their environment. It helps me get to know them better, and see what they're doing. I am a visiting teacher, where I get to visit other ladies in my neighborhood. I've made so many close friends through this.
