Hi I'm Jean F. Hill

I'm a Mormon. After being Catholic for 44 years, I was baptized into the church.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful man who grew up in the church. I have 4 beautiful step daughters and 2 grandchildren; boy and a girl. I work as an executive assistant to the CEO of a performance apparel company. My husband and I are empy nesters so we love to travel. I joined the church in 2003 after 44 years of being Catholic.

Why I am a Mormon

I became very disenchanted with Catholicism, and began looking for a different church/way of life. A co-worker gave me the book of Mormon and I read it, studied with the Missionaries and was baptized 3 months later and I've never looked back. The one belief that always bothered me in Catholicism is that we as members were baptized for Adam and Eve's transgression. I always asked myself; how can a baby be held accountable for someone else's sin? I love being a part of the "true" church and the restored gospel.

How I live my faith

I am a visiting teacher to a member and a non-member. I try every month to call, visit, send flowers, a note, or some small token. I am the Relief Society secretary in my Ward and I love my calling. I have helped my husband organize the yearly church picnic and the High Priest Council Dinner. For those who are not familiar with Relief Society, it is a women's organization within the church assembled to help others in need; whether it be prayer, food, compassionate services, or help with anything at all.
