Hi I'm Leilani

I'm an avid daydreamer and people watcher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a college student, focusing on photography. I spend most of my time indoors cultivating all sorts of hobbies such as reading, writing, taking photographs, drawing, making music playlists, and blogging. I'm shy and introverted but a secret people-lover nonetheless. I dream of living a simple life with lots of traveling and art-making. I'm a firm supporter of eating wholesome, simple, and healthy food and am currently working on creating better eating habits for myself in order to raise a healthy family from the start. I dream of becoming a triathlete, learning how to master a musical instrument, and being able to speak fluent Portuguese.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and I want to obey His commandments. I want to follow the teachings of His son, Jesus Christ, whom I have an ever-growing faith in. He atoned for my sins and this is the least that I could do to show how much I am grateful.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending Church every Sunday and striving to learn more about the Gospel. I live it every other day by praying, reading scriptures, and applying what I learn and know to be good. I live it by loving the Lord and striving to always do His will, which I know will always bring about good consequences. I am also a ward missionary in my congregation, meaning I help our missionaries teach and fellowship investigators and recent converts. I was recently called as a teacher in my ward's Relief Society, an auxiliary organization for the women of the Church. I get the share a lesson with my fellow Relief Society sisters once a month, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I simply am doing my best in doing what is expected of me by my Father in Heaven, all while keeping that eternal perspective in mind.
