Hi I'm Shauna

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been an RN in Labor and delivery and NICU for 34 years. I have many good experiences with people during some of the most important times of their lives. I see the miracle of birth; and the heartache that comes when these times go wrong. I believe in an afterlife and that we will be happy after this life. Because of my belief I can provide comfort when needed. One of my hobbies is quilting. I enjoy applique the most.

Why I am a Mormon

I have felt the presence of God in my life and felt inspiration from Him that helps me through trials. I know that Jesus has paved the way for us to be happy in the afterlife by His sacrifice and grace. I know that we have ongoing revelation, that God has not forgotten us here. All we have to do is knock at the door, pray and read scriptures. I love the Book of Mormon and know that it is true. It has given much, since I read it for the first time in college.

How I live my faith

I went on a full time mission to the French Swizerland mission. I loved that experience and the people. I would really like to return someday. Today, I volunteer in the Relief Society, which is the organization for women in the Church. We try to take care each other by visitng assignments each month and help teach each other. We learn to love as Jesus taught his disciples.
