Hi I'm Tyler Perry

I'm from Utah. I can stuff over 65 large grapes in my mouth at once. Racing cars is my cup of mojo and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey! My name is Tyler, I am 21 years old and I am currently serving as a missionary in the Virginia Richmond Mission, I love it! My hobbies would have to be racing cars, fixing, looking, reading and thinking about cars, also drooling over them, and also I enjoy sports! I come from a huge family of 8 kids and i am #7, I have learned a lot from that.... by necessity and by force hahah, but i love them all and I am super excited to see them again when I get home! I am fluent in both english and spanish and lived in the barren desert of Mexico for a short stint in 2011 :) I am looking into mechanical engineering as a major and so I am preparing to say goodbye to my life for a few years when i get home. haha. I wasn't always into the church thing but there is nothing in life that has made me quite so happy and i know the power of the gospel and the power of god is manifested to man in our day!!

Why I am a Mormon

Like I said, I wasn't always into the whole "church thing", in fact I didn't have a testimony at all even though i grew up in the church. The one thing i did know is that i had to pick a path and so i chose to investigate by using the things that parents and church leaders had always been telling me to do, i picked up the Book of Mormon and I read it. Pretty simple right? well, that changed it all, everything started to make sense to me and my life started to improve, i was happier and I really felt that God loves me and he has a plan for me because he knows me. I have never looked back because i know that it has blessed my life and I just want so much to bring that happiness to others, that is why i served a mission, and i hope to one day be able to really put it into practice with my own family.

How I live my faith

Well being a full time missionary for the church, i get up at 6 am every morning to run, then i lift, then we do about 4 hours of studies....for 18 months and counting now, all to prepare to bring the true gospel of Jesus Christ to our brothers and sisters! I love sharing the gospel and seeing people change their lives when they begin to live Christ's teachings. I can't say i am perfect, but i help people see the change that the gospel has made in me and show them how to apply it to themselves in their own way, and in the Lord's way.
