Hi I'm JC

I'm a Mormon. And a Husband. And a Father. And a Businessman. And I serve in the Community. But I am always a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 20 years, and I have 4 awesome children. I am a financial advisor for a local credit union, and I am a big fan of where I live and the great outdoors. I love to golf and hunt and fish. I love to shoot, and I also love fireworks. I am from a very large family, I am the oldest of 11 children. Family is very important to me. I love spending time with my children, whether we are camping, floating the river, or sitting around the fire pit to relax. We have a great time together, because we are laughing most of the time.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives me purpose and direction in my life. It gives me the knowledge that I can live with my family forever. It gives me great satisfaction to have a testimony of eternal families. I am so grateful for the knowledge and the testimony that I have, because it allows me to go through life with a better understanding of why I am here. I love my children and my wife, and can't even in vision my life without them. The gospel gives me assurances that we will be together forever. I want to live my life to be worthy to be with them forever. The gospel gives me this structure and goals which help me to live and try to be a better person, so that I can enjoy my family and friends forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a friend to everybody. I realize I am not perfect, and I am working on a lot of things to be better. But I also realize that a lot of people going through things that we don't know about. I try to be sensitive to whatever we don't see behind people's smiles. I think that being a friend is exactly what Christ would do.
