Hi I'm Leon

I'm Christian and I converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (the Mormons)

About Me

I am someone who loves the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I like programming computers and writing with an artistic spirit.

Why I am a Mormon

Pure and simply, I asked God which church was His and he told me it was the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He told me to join so I did. I know God answers prayers.

How I live my faith

I serve in the bishopric (administrative leadership) of the ward or church group that I am in and visit with those who are looking for truth and/or assistance to know or learn about Jesus the Christ and the plan of Salvation. I am publishing videos on YouTube to assist others to understand Bible and scriptural passages. I also have served in the Temple (The Lord's house) and assisted others in helping to provide their ancestors the opportunity to receive and accept the Gospel. I keep the Word of Wisdom (avoid drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, harmful substances and try to eat healthy) and keep the covenants I have made with God and others.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

When Jesus went to the Garden of Gethsemane, he took upon him all of our sins (yours and mine). That alone caused him to suffer more than we can imagine; any normal person would have died. It is only because of His divine nature, being the literal son of God the Father, that he was able to endure it. Then as if that agony wasn't enough, He had to be punished for our sins: He was beaten, scourged, spit upon, and finally crucified on a cross until he gav e up His life for us. Because of Him, and His sacrifice and resurrection, we all may live. I know He lives; He died for me, and I owe him everything. Show more Show less
