Hi I'm Rose

I grew up in Utah and New Mexico. I love to garden and be with my children. I laugh loud and enjoy life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to get my hands in the soil and watch little tiny seeds grow into beautiful flowers, fruit, and vegetables. Being a part of the growing process helps me see life differently. A seed is so small and insignificant, but it can grow with continuous light and water into something big, beautiful and tasty. I am that way too, I feel small and insignificant sometimes, but I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father who loves me. He helps me to grow and abound in beautiful ways. Sometimes that growth takes a big effort, but continuous prayer and scripture study culminate to create faith and a brighter spirit in me. I also love watching my children grow. They have such an amazing faith and love for life. They teach me more than I ever have taught them. I like to create new things, craft, make a wood table, or upcycle what once was junk. I think life is full of new surprises and each day is a gift.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the peace that comes from knowing I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father. He knows me and watches over me and my family every day. I have a plan, there is purpose for the tests and trials that come my way. When I choose to follow my Savior, all the cares of the world melt by the wayside. This peace and reassurance keeps me going each day. When big decisions come, I can call on my Father to strengthen me and guide me through safely. I know the Lord lives and loves me. This makes all the difference in the world to me.

How I live my faith

I try to serve my family and others as the Savior did. Each day I try to love my children as Heavenly Father loves them. Show them the unique attributes they have been given. Help them to see the good in this world and all the good they can do as they help those around them. I work with the little children at church and teach them of the great love Jesus Christ has for them. I also volunteer at our local library, service to many brings great satisfaction and joy to me. I also visit with sisters from my local church. I get to know their family, their challenges, what kind of dessert they like. Then I try to help them in any way I can. Learning to love another has brought me the greatest joy.
