Hi I'm Chris

I grew up in California and Missouri. I live in Utah now and like to run marathons. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some of my hobbies include running, mountain biking, and being with my wife. I got married a little later than most people around here, and I love my wife very much. I work on computers much of the day with my employment and I enjoy working with technology. I have visited several countries, including several countries in Africa, Europe, and Asia. Mainly, I am just a normal person who does everyday things.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS church and it has always been one of the most important parts of my life. I began to realize the importance of the teachings of the Church when I was a teenager and especially when I served as a missionary for the Church in and around Tucson, Arizona. This great church has blessed me in so many ways. I was blessed to be married to my beautiful wife in 2010. She is also a member of the church and I know that we can be together forever through the teachings of the Gospel. I am just a normal person who tries to be good.

How I live my faith

I serve as a secretary for my local congregation. I keep notes for the meetings and keep track of the statistics and finances for different organizations, especially youth organizations, in the congregation. I often teach small groups of people in the congregation, including young men and women and sometimes the older men. I sometimes am called to speak in front of the entire congregation. My wife and I try to join in on service projects whenever possible and we enjoy having many neighbors who are members of our congregation. We enjoy getting to know new people and sharing our beliefs with others. We just try to be good people and enjoy spending time with each other and our extended families.
